Great boutique hotel near Shoreditch and easy to get to from Moorgate. Great location to go anywhere in London. Building works opposite dwarf the hotel but doesn’t affect what a lovely unique hotel Sun Street Hotel is. Decor quirky and staff amazing

Absolutely loved our stay. The whole place has such a stylish yet welcoming feel — beautifully designed with loads of character but still really comfortable. Our room was spotless, super cosy, and had everything we needed (the bed was amazing!). The staff were lovely — friendly, helpful, and made us feel really looked after from the moment we arrived. It’s in a great spot too — tucked away enough to be quiet, but just a short walk from all the fun in Shoreditch.

The hotel itself is lovely. Well equipped, stylish and we slept extremely well (we didn't notice any noise from the construction across the street). However, the service is mediocre and not what one would expect from a 5 star (or even 4 star) hotel. They asked me multiple times throughout my stay for my credit card, couldn't get charges straight and ended up changing me twice (or three times?) For breakfast. When I complained, no apology was offered. The doorman is lovely and extremely helpful and the breakfast good value.
