The Aldgate Centre is a modern, light-filled event space in the heart of the City of London, attached to St Botolph without Aldgate, a church with a history on this site stretching back to before 1125. It is one of the most distinctive dry hire venues in central London, combining a brand-new, purpose-built event space with a heritage setting that gives every event a sense of place and meaning.

The space itself is genuinely impressive. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with natural light, white walls and light wood flooring keep the feel clean and contemporary, and two high-performance moving acoustic walls can divide the room into up to three separate areas for breakout sessions, parallel meetings, or a multi-zone event layout. A terrace complements the space for outdoor use when the weather allows. The building has been designed with sustainability at its core, with air-source heat pumps, a green roof, and a commitment to reaching carbon neutrality by 2030.

The Aldgate Centre is a registered charity with a long history of social action and community work in the local area. Every booking directly supports that work, so hiring the space does more than secure a great venue. It is suitable for conferences, meetings, corporate dinners, product launches, receptions, birthday parties, wedding receptions, and public events of all kinds. A full professional kitchen is available for caterers, and the venue is a dry hire with no corkage charge on alcohol brought by clients.

Aldgate station is next door, and Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, Tower Hill, and Bank are all within a nine-minute walk. The building was designed with accessibility as a priority, with lifts, ramps, and adjustable facilities throughout.

The Aldgate Centre offers space for up to 120 standing, 120 theatre, 85 for dining, or 38 in boardroom style, with two movable acoustic walls creating up to three zones. Dry hire with no corkage; on-site professional kitchen, optional crockery, glassware, and tableware. Tables and chairs included. Terrace available for an additional charge, wifi, climate control, and full accessibility; from £870, 9am–10pm.
