Nestled in the heart of historic Greenwich, overlooking the River Thames, The Oystercatcher is a chic and contemporary bar/restaurant exuding elegance. Boasting a spacious quayside terrace and spread across two floors, this stunning venue combines stylish interiors, a striking façade, and unparalleled river vistas, offering guests a truly memorable dining experience amidst picturesque surroundings.
The upstairs Restaurant at The Oystercatcher is our most popular hire venue. It offers seating for up to 100 guests, making it an ideal venue for a variety of events. We accept booking enquiries from 20 guests and above for a variety of semi- private and private occasions. We have recently hosted wedding receptions, engagement parties, baby showers and birthday parties in The Restaurant.

Cancellation policy
In the event the client needs to cancel or postpone, deposits will be fully refundable or transferable three months after they are placed. Any transfer of dates will be subject to availability. Cancellations must be in writing and must be confirmed back in writing by The Oystercatcher General Manager, Andy Slattery or the Events Manager, Laura Fennelly. In the event of a cancellation beyond the three month buffer period, the deposit is non-refundable or transferable.

I’m here almost every week! Love the views, the loaded fries (too bad they only do them on request now), butter milk chicken, and spinach. The broccoli was great too but it’s been taken off the menu - for now!

We used to visit The Oystercatcher regularly years ago, but after moving to the other side of Greenwich, it somehow slipped off our radar. Recently, we returned. The atmosphere is lovely, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or evening out. Today we were slightly disappointed to find they had run out of oysters, but that's not really their fault. The food more than made up for it. The Oystercatcher burger was rich and full of flavour, the fish finger sandwich was impressively sized and great value, and the crab burger was unique and absolutely delicious. I also loved the yellowfin tuna salad, fresh, light, and packed with flavour. All in all, it’s a great spot that we’re happy to have rediscovered. We’ll definitely be back again soon

Friendly staff and decent food, did have to wait a while and think we did get forgotten about... But the other areas made up for that overall. Nice views of the river too!
