As a family, we have visited the Velodrome for various running events on the outdoor circuit. We once ventured indoors, in 2017, for a cycling experience on the boards and enjoyed it immensely. Building on that we had a wonderful time at the Family Event, London 3Day Cycling competition in November 2025.

Amazing velodrome, good seating area with tons of room and easy toilet access.

I went in politely asking if I could see the track before paying. At any normal place, you are allowed to have a quick look before making payment. I asked to speak to a manager, but the manager was extremely rude and told me, “This is a business, that’s why I won’t let you in.” He even asked me what I expected from him. I explained that in most places you’re given the opportunity to check the facility before using it. His response was again that it’s a business — but if it’s a business, then being polite and respectful to customers should be the priority, not just profit. I am a professional BMX park rider and was genuinely interested in seeing what UK BMX race tracks. I’ve visited many countries and have never experienced such poor service. Instead of being welcoming — which costs nothing — they were extremely rude. On top of that, the weather was very windy, making it impossible to ride anyway. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
