Fantastic stadium for sporting events, concerts and outdoor entertainment. Huge 60k capacity with multiple entrances. Food and drink concessions, merchandise and other retail options. Plenty of stewards and easy access. Gets very busy on match days so allow plenty of time. Good public transport links and access. Superb views inside stadium, seats are covered by roof. Amazing venue with iconic history.

I came for a West Ham United vs Chelsea match and it was phenomenal. It was sold out and I was lucky to obtain a ticket. The vibe was great and electric! A solid stadium with a very beautiful atmosphere. Watching the game was excellent, rules are you can’t bring your alcoholic drinks to the chairs so you have to drink it on the concourse. Merchandise can be purchased outside though and nothing once you get into the stadium.

My first ever time here and I was surprised by how nice the surroundings are. We went to watch a concert so it was very busy and very hot (during the heatwave) Every place to eat and drink stalls, restaurants and bars were rammed with people. But all the staff were friendly and helpful even though they were under great pressure. The stadium itself is massive and it had plenty of food stalls and toilets. The food was overpriced, but nothing more than expected with a venue such as this. The queues to get in were ridiculous and there was no shade. I spoke to the staff explaining that my husband was recovering from throat cancer and can't be exposed to the sun and we were then allowed to go through the disabled gate. Which we thoroughly appreciated, so we didn't have to queue really. Although our tickets had a certain gate and bridge to go through, we found it very odd that our assigned one was so far away from our seat. And there were closer bridges & gates we could have used, but it said unless you used the names one you can't get it. There are various water stations around the stadium and you were allowed to take bottles etc onto the arena.

This was my first visit to London stadium and I was quite impressed. We came to see a diamond league athletics event. Entry was quite smooth and quick (although the advertised bag size restrictions were not enforced- so I could have brought a rucksack to carry my items). Getting to our seats was easy. The stadium is very impressive, with a great view from most seats which are well protected from the elements (apart from those closest to the track/field). The sound system and screens were very clear. There were plenty of toilets so there weren't any queues for them. We didn't buy any food or drinks whilst we were there so can't comment on them. The only negative is leaving the stadium. There is a pedestrian traffic management system that forces everyone leaving towards the train station. A 15 minute walk takes about 60 as it is stopped and started. I assume this system is in place due to the football crowds as you are forced away from the restaurants. The big shame is that we weren't in a rush to leave so we're happy to just eat locally but due to the time wasted and being forced directly to the train station we ended up eating at kings cross instead. This system does make me pause about visiting any other events here.

Not good at all for a football match as I know every West Ham fan will agree with. I came as a palace fan and we got the result but the fact the supporters behind the are so far apart is so bad for the atmosphere. The top tier is a 5 minute uber drive to the bottom tier which is so frustrating, one of the worst premier league stadiums
