About Venue

Holborn Venues offers both the iconic Wren church of St Andrew Holborn with its walled garden as well as the adjoined Victorian Courthouse, which hosts a mixture of both historic and modern rooms. Situated conveniently at the Western edge of the City of London, Holborn Venues offers a unique and versatile space in a convenient location.

The Court House has a lift connecting the event spaces to the industry standard kitchen. The site does not have an accessible toilet, but will make all reasonable adjustments to accommodate specific needs.

Holborn Venues uses both internal and external catering, depending on what suits the event best. Holborn Venues only hosts events in line with the companies ethos.

The Walled Garden is a rare oasis of calm and space within the City of London. The space is surrounded by lush greenery and punctuated by the beautiful Wren church. The walled garden gives a opportunity for a tucked away event among the business of Holborn circus.

Right in the center of London, this space is perfect for Garden parties, Summer receptions, and barbecues.

St Andrew, Holborn: Wren’s 1686 church, survived fires & bombs. Was closed when visited but the outside was very cool.

The largest of Sir Christopher Wren's surviving parish churches, this dates from 1867 when it was rebuilt. It is now a Grade I listed building having been restored after bomb damage.

Was having the time of my life at a choir concert here when, at about 10pm, the vibe was crucified quite literally, by a man in a dressing gown claiming to be the homeowner/priest. He marched on stage, bathrobe flowing, and announced, “This is my house, please leave now.” Crowd thought it was part of the show. It was not. Music stopped. Priest stood his ground like a final boss. No explanation. Just Gregorian rage and holy authority. Iconic in hindsight, but two stars for ruining my night and possibly my faith in live music. I may become curfew-atheist after yesterday’s saga of biblical revelation.
