I joined the drawing course at Sunny Art Academy and couldn’t be happier with my experience! The tutors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about art, guiding students through every step with clear explanations and practical demonstrations. The course builds a strong foundation in key skills like proportion, perspective, and shading, while also encouraging personal creativity. The studio itself is welcoming and inspiring, with a friendly atmosphere that makes learning enjoyable. I’ve noticed real improvement in my drawing ability in just a few weeks, and each lesson leaves me excited to keep practising. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend Sunny Art Academy – it’s one of the best art schools in London!

Highly recommended - a great studio. The flexible timetable really works well and means you can pick and choose times and tutors to suit your own convenience. Everyone is really friendly and the classes are small so you can be sure of individual attention. I am a complete beginner and have learned such a lot over the last few months. Thankyou in particular to Minko and Robin.

I started the drawing course at Sunny Art Academy as a complete beginner, and it's been such a rewarding experience. The tutors are not only skilled artists but also amazing teachers — they break down complex techniques into simple, clear steps that are easy to follow. Every week I feel myself improving, and I’ve gained a much deeper understanding of form, light, and proportion. The studio is beautiful and well-equipped, and the small class sizes make it easy to get personal feedback. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn drawing in a professional but supportive environment!

This place is exactly what I've been looking for for so long. I love going there; it's cozy, creative, and welcoming. The teachers are very patient and kind, and they help us progress at our own pace. You arrive and choose your medium—no restrictions, you do what you want, and you have complete freedom while still being well supported. I love being able to go whenever I want, whenever I can; we're always warmly welcomed and well looked after. It's a pure moment of relaxation, and I improve every time.

I learned so much more than I expected. Very pleasant environment and high standards of teaching. I have never studied art before so I felt I learned a lot in the 10 or so months I attended. Matt, Minko, Robin and Yinjie are all excellent teachers. I appreciate how structured Matt is in his approach and willing to push for better quality. My only feedback is that the website is pretty confusing and it happened more than once that I couldn't check out properly so had to get help from the admin team. It also doesn't do the school justice. I also think it would be nice for existing students to be able to buy a smaller amount of top up credits to finish off a project or even have a couple more lessons before holiday closure etc.
