Pro: - Great location, in-between 2 tube stations (shepherds bush and Holborn - both equal distance from the hotel - is recommend taking the Holborn one as the walk is prettier) - Close to Westfield shopping center- about a 8 minute walk from the hotel is one of the largest shopping centers in london. - Breakfast: good selection of both hot, cold, vegetarian / non vegetarian options - Price: close enough to central london without that central london price. However for what i paid i expected a higher quality of service and amenities. Cons: - Rooms - incredibly small, outdated and smelled odd (probably from the carpet that needs to be changed) the bed also seemed smaller than a double. I didn't mind as much as all our time was spent outside and the location made up for this inconvenience. - Room service - seemed inconsistent, for at least 2 days the dirty cups were not replaced and water was not left daily which I am use to in all other hiltons ive stayed in. Staff friendliness: didnt feel as welcomed as I usually do in all hiltons ive stayed in. Also the gentleman checking the room number for breakfast was incredibly strict, when my wife mentioned our room and confirmed the booking name he had to double check with me before letting us in ( the room is under my name) General maintence of the room: cant comment on the rest of the hotel as I didn't use the facilities however in the room, the shower door was broken & the carpet has a very big stain. Overall it's a good hotel for location only. However my recommendation is as long as you are close to a tube you can find somewhere else with a bigger room and equally as good breakfast.

Have stayed here a few times over the years. Before posting this review I wanted to let some time pass because I was extremely upset after my last stay. After a year I realized I wasn't going to ever really get over it so figured I would just post. Lets start with the great: Price point is strong for central London, the location is solid given the hotel is close to the central line and an easy walk to the mall. Nice when you have kids and want to grab a quick bite. The staff are excellent. The bad: The hotel hasn't had any noticeable upgrades over the years. I was fairly traumatized by the bathroom door in the room jamming somehow and being stuck. Thankfully my son was with me on this trip so he was able to get help to come assist which arrived promptly. Was told this is not that uncommon and the gentleman proceeded to put hand lotion onto the door lock to lube it up.

If the rooms were more modern this would be a 4. The staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast is very, very good. Good and decent quality (again, quest and plea for the option of filter coffee continues!) I didn't try any of their other food offerings but if the breakfast standard is anything to go by I'm sure its solid. Location is actually fine, depending on why you're there. It's basically opposite Shepherds Bush station and a short walk from Holland Park station. A bit further and you're in Notting Hill. I stayed here quite a bit about 5 or 6 years ago. Breakfast has improved dramatically but rooms haven't changed a bit so you can imagine they're very dated, bath/shower combos. For people who this is important to, I was not upgraded as Diamond but was given drinks vouchers in lieu of them having permanently closed their (previously acceptable but a bit sparse) executive lounge. The gym is very basic and the equipment is generally old but its functional. It was busy in there at 5:45am (both of the available treadmills taken) but there are bikes. A cross trainer, ans a small weights room. Standing shoulder press would prove a challenge as the ceilings are low but ultimately managed to a decent enough workout I got pictures of breakfast but nothing else. Worth noting on a sunny day it is a very simple walk through Notting Hill to Hyde park and into Oxford Street so location wise its fine, just not in the thick of it. I do think this is often (but not always) reflected in the price.

The hotel’s location is really nice but it’s in desperate need of a remodel the rooms are very old the hallways have cracks in them the carpet kind of smells from how old it is. The breakfast area is dull and the lights are annoying. The breakfast selection is fine it’s what you expect at any hotel. The rooms were kind of small to be honest and the window is very narrow and small so there’s not really daylight in the room. In terms of cleanliness the cleaning staff themselves are not clean. The reception staff are welcoming and nice as well as the waiters in the breakfast buffet are lovely. In terms of price you could get a nicer and more modern hotel for the same price or maybe less. The hotel has great potential if they remodeled.

Not amazing and I don’t really think this was a 4 star experience. Very basic. Staff are incredibly in personable, no one acknowledges your existence or even says hi to you in the hotel, even when re entering at the end of the day. Both times I was at the bar I was ignored, I stood at the bar for 10 mins waiting to be served while 3 staff were in front of me, not one even looked up. The second time we were sitting at a table for 20 mins and no one came, I had to get someone’s attention. We asked for dental kits when we arrived and the toothpaste expired in june 2024…. (It is October 2025.) The housekeeping did not fully re stocked the room each day, we had to call for face towels to be replaced and the 3 days after that they still were not replaced after cleaning. We only got one hand towel one day too. Even though they took two dirty ones. The hotel is fine but really do not expect much and you could get better for the same price. I feel the staff ignored us too because we were probably younger than the average clientele but that should not be an excuse.
