New Meta Gaming Arena is a purpose-built gaming and esports venue in Islington, minutes from Angel station, available for exclusive corporate and private hire. Behind a striking storefront on Upper Street sits a full competitive setup: [30+] high-spec gaming PCs, a dedicated 5v5 battle arena, console stations, sim racing rigs, and soundproof streaming booths with greenscreen and live production capability.
It's a space built to do things a standard function room can't. Host a team away day or company social with a live tournament and big-screen finals; run a product launch or brand activation with full broadcast and streaming; hold a networking evening, press day or filming shoot. Our in-house team handles the tech, the format and the production so you don't have to bring in a single extra supplier.
The venue can be hired in full or in part, for half-days, full-days or evenings, and we offer catering, a licensed bar, security, filming and dedicated event management as add-on services. Whatever the event, our team builds it around your brief.

The Private Hire First Floor at New Meta Gaming Arena is the main arena level at 116H Upper Street in Islington, with capacity for up to 50 standing guests or 20 boardroom style.

Upstairs is New Meta's main arena, a large open floor filled with banks of high-spec gaming PCs, divided by full-height glazed screens that keep the space bright and open while creating separate zones to work with. Alongside the PC banks sits a 5v5 battle stage built for competitive play, and a console lounge with sofas for those who would rather settle in and watch the action unfold. Big screens run throughout, making it as suited to presentations and showcases as it is to tournaments. Hire it as the competition floor of a full venue takeover, or on its own for tournaments, team events, filming, and product demos. External catering can be arranged for an additional cost.
