We loved the peaceful atmosphere — it felt like a little escape. The mattresses were really comfortable, and our room was warm and cozy, with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was included, and it was always fresh, warm, and delicious. We also really appreciated having hot water in the shower — such a comfort! Everything was just right, and we’d be happy to come back again.

Lovely guest house. All the staff were so kind and accommodating. We were able to check in early, and they hold luggage day of check-in and check-out for free as well. English breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Nice neighborhood with many businesses nearby. Located near several bus stops and tube stop, and can take a stroll through Kensington gardens. Am hoping to return on my next visit to London!

I booked a room with a single bed and shared bathroom. I never saw anyone on my level (1) and the bathroom was like no one used it. The bed was comfortable. The staff here (especially ladies in the kitchen) were great. The breakfast was included and was always fresh and delicious. Location is perfect. Across from Kensington Gardens and very close to Queensway Tube (central line).

We recently hosted a wedding event in your function hall and would like to share our feedback regarding our experience. Unfortunately, there were several issues that left us quite disappointed. To begin with, there was considerable miscommunication among staff members. Initially, we were informed that we could use the kitchen to refill water; however, the receptionist later advised that access to the kitchen was not permitted, and that we would need to request water through reception each time. We were also told we could use the faucet in the restroom to refill, which we found highly inappropriate for a hospitality venue. Furthermore, towards the end of the event, around 6:45 p.m., the receptionist (whose name we believe is Sophie) came to the hall and asked how much longer we would be using the space. We politely responded that we would be finished within 15 minutes as we were in the process of tidying up and removing decorations. Despite our efforts to clear the hall promptly, at 7:00 p.m. she informed us that we had exceeded our booking time by an hour and would be charged for an additional hour. This came as a shock, as we were clearly in the process of leaving, with most of our belongings already outside the main door. We tried to explain that the delay was due to the lack of a lift, which required us to carry items up and down the stairs. During this interaction, the receptionist spoke to her colleague in another language and laughed, which we found unprofessional and disrespectful. It made us feel uncomfortable and excluded, as though the conversation was deliberately held in a language we could not understand. This behavior is not reflective of the level of service we would expect from a reputable hotel. We were deeply disappointed, especially for the couple who later received a call requesting payment for the alleged extra hour. This situation was both inappropriate and unnecessary. Overall, our experience was far below expectations. We felt that the service lacked professionalism, inclusivity, and courtesy. We sincerely hope that the management addresses these concerns to ensure that future guests do not encounter a similar experience.
