About Venue
Thistle Kensington Gardens provides an ideal venue for business meetings, family occasions and other events. Our largest function, the Park & Porchester Room, seats up to 45 people theatre-style, making it suitable for presentations and larger meetings, with views over Kensington Gardens.
We have a further room suitable for board and team meetings, training sessions, presentations, interviews and private dining. Large windows let in lots of natural light, helping to keep everyone feeling fresh and superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens makes this a wonderful venue for a wedding reception.
The Park and Porchester rooms are suitable for meetings in various layouts. It can accommodate up to 45 people theatre-style, and 30 boardroom style. With natural day light and views of Kensington Gardens, the flexibility of this room makes it perfect for any layout required.

Super hotel in a great location. Our room was comfortable and clean and well equipped, with a fabulous view over Kensington Gardens. We were warmly greeted by the lovely Gina on reception. A perfect spot from which to explore London. Thanks guys!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location. Close to Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens, the tube, hop on hop off bus virtually right outside the hotel, petrol station/convenience store right next door. The staff were exceptionally friendly too. Nice room but could do with a small fridge. Breakfast was lovely too.

Such a lovely reception staff—always smiling and welcoming. I arrived at 10 AM hoping they could check me in, and they did! The rooms are decent and pleasant, and the room service is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting to explore the city. It’s conveniently located near bus stations and the Queensway Underground.

We stayed for a week, it was recommended to me by a family member would had stayed back in 2019 and loved it. It is in a lovely affluent residential area. The staff - every single one - helpful and friendly with a smile and a greeting! I called the desk for a couple of things and they were dealt with quickly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

At first time of stay, we loved this hotel as very close to Queensway tube station, nice and quite area, clean and big rooms, clean bathroom. After a busy day, we sat on the bar and rested with nice food and drinks. The room we booked by was by the Kensington gardens, full green and yellow/brown at this time of the year. Breakfast is simple but adequate. Our receptionist Pelin has helped us a lot and guided, on last day we had few business outside, we left the luggage at reception room while checking out in the morning, when we came back, they let us a room for changing clothes and repacking the suitcase. We were so happy with this hotel so we rebooked for next month.
