About Venue
Thistle Kensington Gardens provides an ideal venue for business meetings, family occasions and other events. Our largest function, the Park & Porchester Room, seats up to 45 people theatre-style, making it suitable for presentations and larger meetings, with views over Kensington Gardens.
We have a further room suitable for board and team meetings, training sessions, presentations, interviews and private dining. Large windows let in lots of natural light, helping to keep everyone feeling fresh and superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens makes this a wonderful venue for a wedding reception.
The Park and Porchester rooms are suitable for meetings in various layouts. It can accommodate up to 45 people theatre-style, and 30 boardroom style. With natural day light and views of Kensington Gardens, the flexibility of this room makes it perfect for any layout required.

I would definitely come back to the Thistle London Hyde Park Kensington Gardens Hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by Pelin who gave us excellent and exceptional customer service. She was able to check us in early and while we waited for our room we had coffee and pastries at the hotel’s convenient restaurant. Our hotel room had a great view of the beautiful park, London eye, and other nice buildings. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. We purchased breakfast with our booking and it was worth it. The location of the hotel is great! There are good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It’s also a 10-15 minute walk from Portobello Market which has shops and more yummy food. We also liked that we booked the hop on hop off bus tour right in front of the hotel. Make sure you check out the prices online before you book in person to get the same great deals. The area where the hotel is at is lively and we felt safe. I would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast experience reflected a consistently high standard of service, organization, and quality. Service provided by Sarika was courteous, efficient, and attentive, ensuring a well-organized and comfortable dining experience. The English breakfast offerings were well prepared and presented, with particular highlights including freshly cooked eggs, high-quality sausages, and crisp bacon, all served at an appropriate temperature. The selection was further enhanced by fresh pastries, seasonal fruit, and a comprehensive range of hot beverages.

The hotel breakfast was excellent, with an impressive variety of options to choose from. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well prepared, making it a great start to the day. Nithin was professional, attentive, and ensured that the dining experience was seamless and enjoyable, reflecting a high standard of hospitality. I recently stayed at the Thistle London hotel and was very pleased with the food and room service experience during my visit. The hotel offered a good selection of meals both in the restaurant and via in-room dining, which I found to be tasty and well prepared overall. The restaurant staff were polite and attentive, making dining enjoyable and relaxed. Guests often mention that the quality of food and presentation was excellent, with several people especially complimenting the attentive service at meals.  What stood out most was the effort from the staff to make the dining experience welcoming – they were professional and friendly, which added a great touch to the food service. Even when the hotel was quiet, the restaurant maintained high standards of service.  In addition, the room service options were convenient, with a variety of snacks and dining choices available directly to the room — perfect after a long day of exploring London. While variety can vary between different Thistle locations, most guests appreciated having the flexibility to order meals without leaving the comfort of their room.  Overall, I would say the food and room service were a definite highlight of the stay — delicious food, courteous staff, and good service really helped enhance the overall experience at the Thistle London hotel.
