Double Standard is our stylish drinking hole. Independent in style, Double Standard is a blend of the classic British pub and New York speak easy, that serves hearty fare accompanied by draft beers and classic cocktails. It showcases this union with a beautifully crafted menu which celebrates our U.S roots and new London home. Double Standard has a private entrance, heated garden, and DJs on Fridays.

December 2024The best hotel in London. Have stayed here multiple times in the last 12 months and like their Ibizan and Maldives hotels, the staff, facilities, rooms, food and drink are all exceptional. If you want a chic and stylish trip to London, the Standard is the place for you

October 2024Long overdue review. I’ve stayed at the standard twice in the last two years and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. The staff is great. The location is great. The vibe is great. funky colors all over the hotel. The the view from the bar at the top is one of a kind. It’s close to the metro and the train station. That’s all you need to know if you’re in Europe and you want to spend some time in London I would recommend a different hotel. That’s the only place I wanna stay now.

December 2024Had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Standard hotel. Location excellent. Hotel facilities amazing. Staff very professional, attentive, helpful and nothing was too much trouble! A big shout out for Benito who looked after us and service us on all three mornings for breakfast. He is a credit to the Standard chain! Wonderful guy!

January 2025Our stay at The Standard was great. The rooms were spacious. I requested a quiet floor and was not disappointed. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were quiet. We stayed on the 4th floor which was perfect. Our room booking included daily breakfast which was excellent, plenty to choose from and was delicious. Benito was our server on several occasions. He knew exactly what we wanted by the second day. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Conveniently located across Kings Cross/St. Pancreas stations.

January 2025This hotel has a fantastic location directly across from King's Cross/St. Pancras Station. Service is impeccable. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. There is no hair dryer and no wall outlets in the bathroom and the toilet is a separate room from the sink/shower which is nice but the sink /shower room does not have a door. There are not very many outlets in the room so be mindful of that. Rooms do not have an iron, you need to ask for one. There is no wardrobe and very little space to put away clothing. Bed is extremely comfortable, pillows and duvet are perfect.
