Been here a couple of times, food has been lovely. Tartare tacos are always a treat. Steak cuts have been wonderful and the consistent desert choices always have been a top choice -especially the hot cookie dough!

I came here to Gaucho with my family and had a lovely experience. The service was excellent—Bianca was especially great and very patient—and the ambience was fantastic. The lunch menu offered great value as well. Most of us ordered the rump and chips, while a few chose the tofu salad. Everything tasted amazing, and all three desserts were equally delicious. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic dining experience at Gaucho Piccadilly. The atmosphere was wonderful, and perfect for a special night out. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The rib-eye and churrasco steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The charbroiled baby gem was a pleasant surprise, and the crab toast was absolutely delicious. The gazpacho was fresh and enjoyable, and the cookie dough dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. The Malbec we chose was excellent as well—a smooth, medium-bodied wine that paired beautifully with the steaks. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Unfortunately, I can't remember our server's name, but he was professional, attentive, friendly, and really helped make the evening special. Every member of the staff we interacted with was welcoming and knowledgeable. The only dish that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the soup, but everything else was genuinely excellent. Between the wonderful atmosphere, outstanding food, great wine, and exceptional service, it was a memorable experience. I would happily return and highly recommend Gaucho Piccadilly to anyone looking for top-quality steak and a fantastic dining experience.

Gaucho Piccadilly delivers an undeniably enjoyable dining experience, combining warm, attentive service with an elegant atmosphere in the heart of London. The staff struck the perfect balance between friendly and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. The standout dish was undoubtedly the steak, expertly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant renowned for its beef. It was the highlight of the meal and a reminder of why Gaucho has earned its reputation. That said, while everything was executed to a high standard, the overall experience stopped just short of being truly memorable. It lacked that distinctive "wow" factor that elevates a meal from excellent to exceptional. Its prime Piccadilly location also gives it the feel of a popular tourist destination rather than a hidden culinary gem. A special mention goes to the live saxophonist, whose performance added a sophisticated and relaxed ambience to the evening. It was a wonderful touch that enhanced the overall atmosphere. An excellent meal with impeccable service and fantastic steak. While it may not be the most unforgettable dining experience in London, it's a reliable choice for quality food in a vibrant setting. Disappointing steaks despite great service and atmosphere The waiters were polite and well mannered. Unfortunately, the food did not match the service. To our surprise, the steaks were of low quality, tough and very chewy, even though we ordered their flagship dish and exactly what the waiter recommended. The filet, which was marinated and supposed to be tender, had tough and chewy parts. It seems the catch is that they marinate the back end of the filet, the part that contains more tendons and yet they charge the highest price for it. On top of that, the doneness was off; we asked for Medium-Well but received Medium. The sirloin steak was also full of gristle and tendons, chewy, was grilled over high heat, burning edges but medium inside. In short, we ordered 4 filet and one sirloin, and only one filet was actually okay. It was incredibly disappointing and really ruined the mood, especially since we paid a hefty amount—£378. To be fair, the staff handled the situation well. The waiter noticed our plates and realized something was wrong. The manager then approached us and asked how the meals were. She was very nice and understanding, promising to pass our feedback to the chef. After we paid and left, she actually ran out after us to apologize again for the unpleasant experience and offered a 50% refund on the steaks we didn't eat. While we highly appreciate the manager's excellent customer service and kindness, the meat quality itself was a major letdown for a steakhouse
