About Venue
In the heart of Covent Garden and set in London’s original flower market, London Transport Museum has three unique event spaces available for hire.
The interactive Museum Galleries can be hired before public opening for naturally lit breakfasts under the Victorian glass roof, and after hours for memorable evening events. Guests enter through the immersive World City Walkway and then have exclusive access to two floors of London’s rich transport history. Highlights include an iconic collection of red Routemaster buses, early Tube carriages and an Elizabeth Line driving experience. The quintessential backdrop is complimented by integrated branding opportunities and bespoke menus delivered by some of London’s finest caterers, carefully selected due to their excellence. The Galleries can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated dinner, 600 guests for standing receptions and 200 guests for seated presentations.
The Cubic Theatre is a purpose-built auditorium featuring 110 distinctive moquette seats, perfect for conferences, training sessions and film screenings. A high-spec short throw projector ensures slick presentations, whilst a DCI/DCP projector and Dolby Digital surround sound offers a full cinema experience. The adjoining Foyer can be used for registration, catering and breakouts with great branding opportunities. All guests are welcomed to visit the Galleries, making for inspiring break times.
The Cubic Theatre is perfect for seminars, workshops and conferences. Up to 110 guests can be welcomed into the space which features distinctive tiered seating and high-spec technology.
Dual projection offers a short throw projector for professional presentations and DCP/DCI playback capabilities with Dolby Digital surround sound for slick screenings. Our integrated tech is supported by onsite technicians and the adjoining Foyer can be used for registration and networking.
All guests benefit from complimentary day access to the Museum’s exhibitions.

Nestled in Covent Garden, the London Transport Museum is a great place to visit if you dig London transit. Inside are a bunch of nice exhibits and full sized vehicles. Some of which you can go into, some of which you can't. This isn't the largest museum, but the location can't be be beat. Kids will love this museum too as there is plenty for them to do, including a play area.

The London Transport Museum is an absolute delight for all ages! It beautifully showcases how London’s transport system evolved — from horse-drawn carriages to iconic red buses and the Underground. The exhibits are interactive, informative, and very well presented. The vintage vehicles and classic Tube designs bring back nostalgia, while the hands-on sections make it perfect for kids too. A must-visit for anyone curious about London’s past and how its world-famous transport network came to life!

Such an interesting museum. Includes all different transport methods and has been made for anyone who has an interest in transport. I went on my own as an adult and really enjoyed it. Staff super friendly and helpful. Also £25 to access for a year is very reasonable. Only bit of advice, don’t go in summer holidays, there were lots of children running around with parents that didn’t care which dampened my experience but I know that the museum can’t help this.

Great place for kids and to learn about the history of TFL. Annoying you have to pay an annual entry fee, how often do people return? It’s much smaller than I thought but it’s packed a lot of interesting things in one museum. My little one loves the play areas as it gives them more freedom to play

History & revolution of London transport system. Kids friendly museum they will love this place. It has also the history of transport system how they developed year after year from horse riding car to automated car now. Kids have a opportunity to make fun & play. Restaurants, shopping market, street funshow available here. The nearest train station is Leister for piccadilly line next to china town.
