Great location if you don't want to stay in Bedford town centre. We stayed there at a reasonable price after a Simple Minds Concert. The room is a flat upstairs from the bar so there can be noise issues, especially when you still hear people at 1.30 in the morning when the pub closes at midnight. Breakfast is extra though so that has to be considered before booking. Both bath and shower facilities, TV and tea and coffee in room but the air conditioning is not that good.
