About Venue
London's ‘best new spot for culture’ according to Time Out, Woolwich Works opened in 2021 and is the perfect marriage of heritage and modern design.
Both historic and contemporary, grand and intimate: Woolwich Works boasts a series of newly restored, Grade II and II* listed buildings. The spaces retain many of their beautiful historic features but being a brand new restoration, they are also equipped with sleek modern touches and every state-of-the-art technical necessity.
With stunning views over the river, a bright, airy atmosphere throughout, and the ability to combine indoor and outdoor space, our flexible spaces are perfect for conferences, product launches, immersive experiences, away days, meetings, wedding receptions, parties and much more.
Stonecutters
Almost twenty metres long, and 8.3m wide the Stonecutters Studio is our largest rehearsal studio. It occupies the north-east corner of the site, and has windows on three aspects.
Ropekeepers
Slightly wider than its adjoining studio, at 14.8m by 8.8m. Ropekeepers Studio is a well-proportioned, dual-aspect space.
Stonecutters and Ropekeepers studio can be one large space of 35 metres long – perfect for performances and private events. The studios are separated by a modern acoustic partition. The area above the partition is glazed up to the timber roof lining, which reflects the finish of the resilient studio floor. With a high, vaulted ceiling supported by original timber roof trusses, the space feels exceptionally generous. The rest of the walls are exposed brick, puncuated by mirrors, oak ballet barres and original timber sash windows.
The space is lit by glass factory lights, with technical power and facilities panels at either end. A PA system suitable for playback and light speech use is permanently installed in the room, which also includes an upright acoustic piano.
Access is via a lift or stairs adjacent to the ground floor café-bar, where there are also gender neutral and accessible toilets. Next to the studio there is a accessible shower and toilet, along with a smaller meeting room and our beautiful river-view celebration space, Beanfeast, making it ideal for multi-room events.

I was a bit worried when I walked in. I'd heard the rumors of the great Brazil vs. America Coffee Trade War of '24, and the last thing I needed was to be caught in the crossfire. Would my cappuccino be subject to a 50% tariff? Would the barista be forced to accept payment in Brazilian real? The tension was thick, like a good espresso. But I was pleasantly surprised. The customer service was impeccable. There were no armed guards at the door checking for contraband beans. The coffee was fresh, bold, and thankfully, free of any new taxes. My latte, a symbol of international unity, was poured with a peaceful hand. I even had a stimulating conversation with a few of the professionals about some new ideas I'm taking back to the team. The most hilarious part of it all was when a new customer came in and started to pay with a single, perfectly ripe avocado. The barista just smiled and pointed at the "Cash & Card Only" sign, and a small victory for global trade was won. This cafe is a beacon of hope in a world torn apart by trade disputes and overpriced lattes.

This is an excellent place for neighbors to come and have some drinks and food. There is also the possibility of working here as there are enough tables. There is also some plans for online working (paying a quantity of money to use Internet). However, the tables are not cleaned enough. There are he cups from previous customers on them and some of the tables don't have sugar or salt inside the pods.

Excellent spot right by the river. Very well connected on the Elizabeth line making it very easy to access from central. Venue space can easily accommodate multiple stages with multiple bars as well. Went for the Fume BBQ festival which was fantastic venue to host there combining indoor and outdoor seating. 4 stars as they could accommodate more standing tables which could help with overcrowding in the outdoor venue area
