MKII, Studio 2 - Upstairs Space

We used MKII recently for a mid-size catered event (100 people) and had a positive experience. The space itself is amazing, with character, flexible, and easy to make your own. It worked really well for our setup and the whole day felt relaxed. The team were helpful in the lead up and easy to deal with. On the day, it’s quite a self run space, which suited us fine as we like having control over how things are set up and run. Everything went well from our side and our guests enjoyed themselves. It’s a great spot if you’re after something a bit different in East London. Thanks Team MKII

We held our wedding at MKII and it was truly the venue of dreams!! As a blank canvas hire it gives you complete creative scope to do what you want with the place, meaning your vision can absolutely come alive and thrive in the space. We will never ever forget our day and how incredible it was to hold at MKII. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. Our wedding was on a Saturday and our package allowed us to have the entire day on Friday to set up, and time on the Sunday to pack down too, which meant no stress or faff on the day and just time to soak up all the joy and excitement! The space upstairs is the perfect room to get ready in, there are a couple of other side rooms too: we used one for storage and one for a cinema room for the kids to enjoy. Nick was the absolute best point of contact, he was incredibly insightful in the lead up to the day, answered all our questions happily and helped us with venue visits, sizing, plans etc. he was super accommodating and a just really good vibe of a guy!! We also used The Social Club around the corner for our afters, which was such a good touch to keep the party going into the night! Thank you a million times over to everyone at MKII for being part of our story, we are overwhelmed with love and happiness. Honestly guys, don’t miss out on this venue, it really is the best of the best 🌟
