Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Beautifully themed with the Sherlock Holmes legacy. Intelligent twists. Of particular note is the inimitable head waiter who has a unique style, character and friendliness while keeping it professional and efficient. Lifts the entire place. Another beautiful twist is the excellent, exquisite little gym and sauna. Utterly masterful the way they did it. Large snooker table in the snooker room yet another plus. Beds are comfortable, rooms high spec. Had a very good stay here. Strongly recommended.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone traveling to London. It's right near the Baker Street tube station with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We originally booked the Chiltern Townhouse Suite but were upgraded to the Loft suite. It was nice to have the extra space with the kids. The bed/pillows were comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and the breakfast (which was included in our rate) was delicious! If you are traveling with children, there is a park right around the corner (Paddington Street Gardens) with a great playground.

We absolutely loved our stay at Holmes. The location was exceptional! We loved having Kitchen at Holmes right downstairs for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The staff were kind and attentive. And the rooms were clean and comfortable. It far exceeded our expectations and I’m so glad we chose Holmes.

We had a great stay a Holmes in London. Feels very exclusive for a 4 star hotel and rather boutique. Costás is an excellent manager at the restaurant at evenings, and the same is true for the tall Italian manager during mornings. For the bar at night we also had excellent service from the main waiter, and he nailed all the drinks for us. Even the doorman is part of the crew and works intelligently with the rest to assure a frictionless experience. The room we had was very spacious and we had two baby cribs without any issues. The street noise coming through the windows didn’t disturb our kids which was the most important, but it was substantial enough to bother my wife. If budget allows, this would be great to have a look at, and maybe windows with an extra layer could reduce outside noise. Breakfast feels a bit underwhelming compared to everything else - maybe try to get some outside inspiration and add a bit of flavour and variation.

A great hotel with wonderful facilities in a great location. A particular shout out to the friendly and professional staff who went over and above to take care of us during our stay. Very child friendly too. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed which was a bit of a pain.
