The Cumberland Hotel is one of London’s premier venues for business meetings and other events. With their own private entrance and lift access, our meetings and events facilities are completely separate from the rest of the hotel, but share its striking design and impeccable service standards.
Grouped into two zones – Green and Aqua – they offer a huge choice of sizes and layouts for board and team meetings, training sessions, presentations, interviews and private dining for between 10 and 120 people.
All our meeting rooms are air-conditioned and fully equipped with LCD projectors and screens, plus BT Wi-Fi internet access. You also have a huge choice of food and drink in The Market, our dedicated dining area offering five different types of cuisine freshly prepared in open ‘theatre’ kitchens.
From your initial enquiry to the last guest’s departure, our friendly, experienced team will be on hand to provide all the advice and practical help you need.
The Arena is the largest event room at The Cumberland Hotel, London, with 414 m2 of space. Inspired by contemporary design, it boasts a unique ‘wave-form’ ceiling, and ‘light-walls’ that change colour to create the perfect mood and ambience.
Working with our partners, and our own in-house events manager, you will have access to a huge range of AV equipment, making The Arena one of the most popular event venues near Hyde Park for conferences, awards ceremonies, fashion shows and product launches. And while it’s big enough to accommodate 400 people, The Arena retains a remarkably intimate feel. So when you’ve got something important to say, you can be sure no one’s going to miss a word of it.

We love SOUND Cafe, and especially the staff who make sure our experience is perfect. Jonathan is always attentive, and makes our evenings extra special. We highly recommend the tomahawk steak, and the cocktails are not to be missed. We also love the cat robots and the live music!! Visit while you can!!

Sound Café completely exceeded our expectations. The Tomahawk Steak was incredibly tender and delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The Superfood Salad was surprisingly fresh and vibrant, and the Signature Fish ’n’ Chips was one of the best we’ve had—crispy, light, and amazingly tasty. Their 2-for-1 cocktail offer is fantastic and makes the evening even better. The staff were outstanding—attentive, welcoming, and genuinely passionate. They even helped us take lots of photos with so much enthusiasm, making our night feel even more special. We were seated at a comfortable booth close to the stage, which made the dining experience cosy and enjoyable. The live band was the perfect bonus for our gathering, adding great energy without being overwhelming. Overall, Sound Café delivers great food, great service, and great vibes. Definitely worth a visit—we’ll be back!

Amazing service, great venue and fantastic ambience to have live band performances. This was the celebration dinner for my wife’s birthday. She was surprised and so happy to have the present and birthday cake offered by the service team. Food was delicious and of generous portions. The salmon salad was fresh and the tomahawks were cooked to perfection. Team offered brilliant service, especially special thanks to Jonathan who was attentive and helpful! We really enjoyed a wonderful time with good food, great services and live band singing the Beatles! Definitely will return soon!

Amazing atmosphere. Our host Davio was FIRST class, so friendly and attentive. We got a dessert for my SIL’s birthday and three waiters sang happy birthday. We loved the ‘robot’ serving the food and we chatted to the security guard who was advising women on how to sheild their bags from possible thefts, what a superstar. The food wasn’t the best; tbh but everything else that I’ve mentioned above made up for it.
