Maddox Club, Wilfred's Lounge, Bar & Terrace

Thank you to Zee and Zac for all the help, unfortunately we didn’t actually stay in the club as one of our parties who arrived was not following the dress code was not allowed in, which I understand is just the policy. The booking process was smooth, staff were welcoming and even helped me retrieve my ID which I left in the uber and then my bag (which I also forgot oops!) so appreciate it!

This club is a total joke. Bad vibes from the start — staff are rude, zero customer service, and the atmosphere is just off. I pulled up with my group, first they tell us it’s fully booked, then suddenly we can go in. As I’m about to enter, one of the staff literally grabs me and starts shouting in my face. Physical aggression from a doorman? Seriously? Beyond unprofessional. The reason? Because I had a vest on and my shoulders and arms were showing. Meanwhile, girls wearing next to nothing walked straight in with no problem. Double standards much? To top it off, I watched what looked very much like a group of escorts with old sugar daddies get waved through. Trashy doesn’t even begin to cover it. This club tries hard to look boujee, but there’s zero class. Feels more like a hangout for hookers, daddies and Geordies than anything high-end. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t waste my night in there. I hit another club instead — way better music, friendly staff, and actual good vibes. This place? Discriminatory, sleazy, and not worth a cent. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Please be careful especially if you have a table.Around 3.30 we had 4 bottles down which would be around 2700 pounds but they called people from our table and told them to clear the bill and instead of giving a bill they showed the amount as 3250 on the calculator!!! They thought we were drunk.Be super careful here,music is amazing but vibe of the waiters and other tables is super off (most of the tables seem like a fake set up
