So…… We saw the restaurant/bar the previous day and vowed we would visit. Happenstance had it that we passed the next day and dropped in. Straight away, great welcome from Mark, the guy doing the service. We ordered Pabst beer and thing minutes, it was at our table, cold and delicious. Mark, a very good sales person, managed to upsell food to us…. What a great move! We Ordered Buffalo Wings. They were with us very quickly and were absolutely awesome. Then…. We ordered Classic Cheese Steak (upsold fries by Mark👍🏻) and…. WOW!… we were blown away. The sandwich was so very tasty. Mark was amazing, he was attentive and interested, very customer focused. Naturally it seems. Although the food was beyond reproach, the service offered by Mark was invaluable. Whoever the owners are, take notice of this guy. He’s a real gem of an employee. You cannot train this into staff. They have ‘IT’ or they don’t. Mark has ‘IT’ in abundance. Many thanks for the welcome, the food, the atmosphere. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this place for food, beer, atmosphere and customer service. If you haven’t visited this establishment, I would put it on your ‘to do’ list when you visit London. You will NOT be disappointed.

We had high hopes for Passyunk Avenue in Battersea after loving the Kensington location, but this visit was a disaster. While the kitchen team delivered solid food as usual, the service was shockingly bad. Our waitress seemed completely untrained... she brought us tap water in glasses with lipstick stains, took orders with zero enthusiasm, and made the whole experience awkward. Tables were sticky with leftover grime, and another customer’s dog was allowed to roam unchecked (I like pets, but keep them under control!). The worst part? They still added a service fee for this mess. It’s a shame because the chefs clearly care, but front-of-house ruined what should’ve been a nice family meal. Stick to the Kensington branch... this one isn’t worth the hassle.
