About Venue
ARANCINA is an artisanal Italian street food favorite that has been serving thousands of customers every day with its unique fresh “pizza alla pala” (made to a secret recipe) and regional snacks, including its famous deep fried Sicilian arancini - risotto croquettes filled with bolognaise, ham & cheese or ricotta & spinach – since 1996. There are five branches in Rome and three in London.
The Italian born Mortari brothers brought the popular ARANCINA concept from Rome to Notting Hill in 2005 and they operate three hugely popular casual dining pizzerias, one near Portobello Market in W11, the second one in Bayswater W2 and one in the new Boxpark Croydon. Just like the outlets in Rome, the London branches serve fresh street foods, made to the same authentic regional Italian recipes.
Over the last decade, the brothers have built ARANCINA into an iconic west London pizzeria – a must visit for many - with a loyal customer following and strong fan base.

Decided to stop here for lunch after spending the entire day roaming Notting Hill. The employees were lovely and even suggested to get the meal to save money. The pizza was okay. Nothing to write home about. The fried rice ball was pretty tasty. I tried the cacio e pepe flavor. There was plenty of seating upstairs and a bathroom, + free wifi which was helpful as a traveler.

Very disappointing. I ordered through uber eats and the pizzas I got were definitely not freshly made. They were stale, as if they were made the day before (or perhaps defrosted?) and inedible. If this is what you get with the 2 for 1 offer don’t bother ordering, you’ll waste your money on old left over pizza. It’s a shame that you use the uber eats offer to sell subpar quality pizza that you need to get rid of.
