In need of full modernisation. Went during the heatwave expecting air con and there was only a fan at the back of the room. It was unbearably hot and verging on dangerous for the older customers (half of whom left in the interval due to the heat). Seats are old, uncomfortable and falling apart. Nowhere to put drinks despite having a bar. Overall disappointed and the 2 stars is for the fact they show NT live shows - will be going to a nearby everyman instead

Very old theatre. No fresh popcorn. The chairs are very old and the gradient of the seats can mean your view can be easily blocked. Small screen too,
