Very cool venue. Drinks not too expensive. Wicked old theatre building. I like the galleried seating, though it's in need of a bigger dance area.

Went to see Joan As Police Woman. Great concert and attractive venue. Art deco cinema with seats removed and audience sitting on tiered banks - good views of stage. Only issue was the sound quality. Big speakers above stage seemed muffled in the higher range - vocals were rather lost.

I go to many music events in London and I have to say this venue is one of the worst I have been to just because of the service. The building itself is practical, offering a good sound system, good views of the stage and a roof top smoking area. I attended the music concert on Sunday the 16th of November and had to queue up for at least half an hour to leave my jacket at the cloakroom, even though there was only a tiny handful of people in front of me. Queues at large venues move within minutes with the same number of staff serving. I found it insulting that the card machines show an option for a tip when paying for this. The bar moved faster, but do pay attention to the prices as the staff tried to charge me more when I went for a second round of the exact same drinks. The service there impacted negatively on my experience of the concert.
