About Venue
Colours is Hoxton Square’s new multi-arts bar and club! Formerly known as Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, this venue has recently been given a complete makeover making it the hottest spot in East London to host your event!
Colours offers four completely unique, multi-use spaces for hire conveniently linked up in a “U” shape: The Live Room, The Main Bar, Karaoke Room and private hire venue The Green Room, which features Summer and Christmas themed pop-ups. Our resident kitchen team are the notorious Orange Buffalo, who have put together an incredible selection of menus for our hires – be it a Christmas or summer party, a quiz or a networking/away day.
This space is suitable for a range of events; conference, networking, Awards ceremony, Christmas party to name a few!
The space has the capacity for up to 100 theatre style for a conference or up to 250 standing for a party.
There is a large stage which can be used for presentations, DJ or live band. There is also a bar, lighting & sound system as well as DJ equipment. We have had a lighting installation put in called The Colour Trap which is an incredible LED net across the ceiling with multicoloured lights that react to the music.

Cancellation policy
January – November Bookings If a booking is cancelled (by registered post or email only) • 2 months in advance of the Access Time, we will refund 90% of the deposit. • More than 1 month in advance of the Access Time, but less than 2 months, any deposit paid will not be refunded. • Less than 1 month in advance up until the Access Time, any deposit paid will not be refunded and we will issue an invoice for immediate payment of the contracted balance. Such a great music and amazing vibes, I went there for Tardeo Club night as well and it was the one of the best night in my club Dairies.

I came for a themed gay night, and the sound system really is the best - the lighting honestly may be a bit too colourful for the deep bass sometimes but that’s in the name! It’s a lovely venue, with ideal layout - the front is a ‘all mingle’ area with tables and wall couches, with the bar across from it, with lovely staff (thank you for showing me grace when my card didn’t work for two shots the first time i came here, embarrassingly) with the main stage bit to the left, with another bar (duh) and an escape from the chaos of it all in the form of a karaoke room to the right, with discoball and everything. It’s spectacularly run, with icebreakers in the form of temporary tattoos the night I came. Always the friendliest faces, long live the dyke nights here !!

I saw Molly Grace perform here which was incredible, the atmosphere was amazing! If you have trouble standing, there's barriers at the back after the bar which are good to lean on. Also you could lean on the bar. I was stood right at the back, and the photo is not zoomed in, so you can see it's a nice intimate venue for music. I didn't see a platform for wheelchair users or disabled toilets though and there's a few steps to the gig section. There is a stairlift to the main bar area.
