Came for the Concrete Jungle event one NYE expecting DnB, dubstep, and garage as advertised, but for most of the night before midnight this was barely played. They should’ve called it Pop concrete It felt misleading, although the music did improve after midnight and became more in line with expectations. When they were playing Jungle and DNB it was great tho which I added some vids below for I just wanted a bit more of it, and wouldn’t have come if I knew it was gonna be played this little. The venue itself was quite nice, but it did not feel equipped for an event of this size. There was only one toilet area with two urinals and two cubicles for the entire venue, leading to long queues. The smoking area was very small and overcrowded, and it was extremely difficult to get a drink from the bar. Overall, not the best night, mainly due to the music mismatch early on and the venue struggling with capacity. I can see how it could be a good night on a less busy event.
