About Venue
Strongroom is an eclectic and very colourful, independently-owned bar and late night venue that also happens to be home to Shoreditch’s biggest beer garden.
Perfect for socially distanced drinks; we have over 30 tables for relaxing with friends in the open air in our huge, ivy covered courtyard, which is overlooked by iconic recording studios and music industry creative spaces.
We offer a personalised but laidback service. Run by a small and very close-knit team, the venue is an oasis within the chaos of east London.
Overlooking Rivington Street, this bar can be hired independently or as part of a full venue hire. A light and airy space with exposed brick work and decorated with a mixture of Jamie Reid style artwork and analogue recording equipment. It has its own entrance, soundsystem, bar and bathrooms and can be made fully private from the rest of the venue.
Optional projector, screen, sound and microphone.
Perfect for parties, receptions, conferences, product launches and team building days.
Maximum capacity 120.

Always a great time at strongroom, been here a few times for gigs, after work drinks, or just chill pints. Pizza was tasty and affordable, staff are professional and friendly. Good beer too!

Great pub with outside space. Ideally have a reservation on saturdays to make sure you get inside but usually its not too crowded on saturdays. They have a really good cider on tap (my fav) not too sweet, not too dry. They also have food but not really gf options as far as I remember besides crisps. They have loads of outside space and heaters too! They also have three bars - one outside and two inside - top and bottom!

Great bar with live music room and a huge outdoor patio. I used to come here 15 years ago and it has not lost its character. Not sure about the service as they didn't acknowledge me for a while so I decide to check out live music without the drink and then left.

The food is tasty, the service is fair enough. On the weekends it is very very crowded and loud so the staff is doing their best to manage that crowd. I do definitely recommend to book if you are a larger group. The garden ares is such lovely with all the lights and if you book in advance you can get a table under the tent where you can stay safe in the rain

Went to see Lizzie Esau live. It's a little hard to find at first. Plenty of space both inside and outside. Prices were reasonable for drinks. Easy access to the bars and the performance space. Sound quality was good and as it's a small venue, a good view is fairly ready to find. Would definitely go again. Only downside for me was that to get back to Paddington afterwards isn't the easiest of trips.
