I’ve been putting off going here whilst I gain confidence on the road as a new biker. But today I took the plunge. Spent 11 hours here today. The venue looks like it was opened yesterday, immaculate! The staff are second to none for friendliness and attentiveness. They all seem proud to work for such a great venue and with great reason. Managed to get a seat for the three of us, it was very busy. But our order came out quickly (a burger, a risotto and a steak sandwich) - all order notes followed to the letter and everything delicious. The app based ordering worked flawlessly and everything was delivered quickly and with a smile. I decided there and then to become a club member because after avoiding pubs for the last decade (former bar manager here) I have found a second home that feels safe and welcoming. If you’re a biker and haven’t been here yet, make it a priority. You won’t regret it. The on site bike parking is a bonus as well!

Last visited years ago and always impressed by the ‘Aladdins Cave’ feel of the place; it’s a bit of a Mecca for London bikers. Popped in for lunch today. Truffle Burger (lacking a bit of truffleiness for my liking, but tasty otherwise), a non-alcoholic beer and an oat flat white came in around £30, which isn’t unexpected in this part of town. Excellent sticker selection packs, priced at £4.80 👌🏼

Dear BikeShad Team, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful surprise birthday celebration hosted for my partner at your restaurant. Everything was beautifully arranged and executed with such professionalism. The entire staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and they went above and beyond to help us throughout the event. The food was, as always, delicious and exceptional. I truly appreciate all your efforts and hope to see you all again soon! Warm regards

Part motorcycle clubhouse, part restaurant, and fully “moto culture,” Bike Shed Moto Co. nails the hangout vibe without skimping on the food. I came for the bikes and stayed for the steak—cooked properly, well-seasoned, and genuinely satisfying, not just an afterthought to the décor. The space is lined with beautiful machines and feels purpose-built for meets and ride-outs; even if you don’t ride, you get the atmosphere straight away. Service is relaxed but attentive, the soundtrack fits, and the room hums without being too loud for a proper conversation. Expect a crowd on weekends and evenings; arriving early or booking ahead is wise. It’s an easy walk from Old Street, and there’s plenty to keep you lingering—bikes to admire, good coffee at the bar, and a menu that goes beyond pub standards. Prices are what you’d expect for central London and the concept, but the quality and setting make it feel worth it. A strong recommendation whether you’re a rider looking for a friendly base or just want a solid meal in a venue with serious character.
