About Venue

We are a 180-capacity cocktail bar and restaurant located on Kingly Street in the heart of Carnaby in London’s Soho. Split across two storeys for the ultimate house party layout, our London-centric flat celebrates Carnaby's rich and electric artistic heritage.

A colourful and homely space on the ground floor, the Sitting Room is the perfect spot for drinks parties for groups of up to 40 people. This area can be hired out privately on its own or as a full venue hire.

Walk through the Violet front door and step into the Sitting Room. There are mixed seating areas at the front and head to the back of the room to discover the vinyl bar with its own record library.

From security to bar tenders honestly one of the most niche and interesting places we have gone in London for a while! My partner and I were there from 7:30pm till 10pm. The security guards were loving and welcoming, so much so we tipped them for their hard work! Cocktails were made to perfection and each staff welcomed us and never forgot us! If we could we would have stayed all night! Looking for something to do for even an hour, go to through the violet door!

Lovely little place a few minutes walk away from Tottenham Court Road station. They had a nice range of cocktails to choose from. I got the kinky boots cocktail, which was a pride special. I hadn't had a cocktail that tasted like that before, it was lush. The food, however, was not in the same league. I had a chicken and chips. The chicken was really bland and not worth the money. I would definitely come back here, but just for the cocktails.

We came here to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday, and the venue itself is such a cute little spot. They had a food package, which was good overall, but I’ve honestly never had guacamole so bland before it was surprising, because that’s usually hard to get wrong. The DJ that night wasn’t great either; the songs didn’t flow well, and the volume was so high it became more overwhelming than enjoyable. If the music had been just as good but less loud, I think everyone would’ve had a much better time. On the plus side, the customer service was really good, the drinks were reasonably priced and decent in strength, and the decor was absolutely beautiful, very Instagram-worthy.
