Gaffe is a distinctive 130sqm railway arch venue in Central London, located just south of the river in a converted railway arch. Freshly refurbished to a high standard, this versatile space combines a unique architectural structure with top-tier amenities, creating an inspiring atmosphere perfect for a broad range of creative, wellness, and entertainment events. With a 150 standing capacity, Gaffe provides a dynamic environment ideal for hosting workshops, music events, art showcases, and much more. Whether you're planning a local meet-up, class, or celebration, Gaffe is here to bring your ideas to life.

Please note prices for events where there are guests is different pricing than the standard hourly rate. Please send us a message about your event and we will try and accommodate as much as we can. Very reasonably priced for central London.
Our venue is ideal for creative and wellness activities, including yoga classes, DJ or music studio sessions, music rehearsals, dance workshops, art exhibitions, music and sound healing sessions, as well as photography and videography studios.
We also cater to community events and gatherings such as local markets, birthday parties, family celebrations (including weddings and baby showers), fundraisers, charity events, live music or comedy nights, and game or club nights.
Whether you're hosting a neighborhood get-together or a local group activity, we offer full bar and staffing services, SIA security if required, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and full accessibility with modern amenities.
We also offer flexible booking times.

Loved the choice of mii’s on the Wii, safe to say “Wii” all found a mii to match our inner selves. Music was on point and I have no idea how an air conditioning place gets such a late license, but more air con gaffs should catch on to this loophole. Definitely worth the wait in the queue.

The gaff is by far the most humble yet welcoming air conditioning place in south London. You come out from there fully refreshed. I feel like a new me. No need to go to Bali and see the monks and stuff to have revelations and start from a fresh line. The gaff will make you question your life choices in the wisest of the ways. It might seem mondaine and even a little bit dodgy at first glance but once you’re settled into the pure atmosphere of the place, you will have trouble to leave. The aromas of fresh tobacco and cooked pesto will plunge you into the heart of Herne Hill vibes. If you’re lucky there might be a sweet tune playing. But don’t sit on the sofa or your soul with sink into it and remain there forever. The gaff isn’t simply about Air Con, but it’s a complex sensory experience that deserved to be lived.
