We’ve had a lovely time, the pub is beautiful inside and outside, stuff is very kind and friendly and it is a perfect place for all sorts of occasions! I’ve booked one of the huts for a baby shower and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

When we arrived we sat down at a table and the server was lovley and took our order but come back very quickly saying that there was no chicken left so I went for the Beef that was lovley and cooked well what I like and my other half had pork the food was amazing great portions the cauliflower cheese and pigs in blanket was a extra charge but was amazing 👏🏻 will definitely come back here again for a Sunday roast

Went for a meal on Sunday and sorry to say but it was disappointing. The staff were really nice so do not want to complain about that, however, we had 4 pints (£7.75 each so not cheap) and then sat down for lunch. I don't think the roast dinner menu was clear because it had beef shin with pork crackling (I thought, yes! something different) under what I thought was the roast section but turns out it was a sharer plate for up to 3 people. My partner got a burger and when I mistakenly ordered the sharer meal, I was not told that this was a meal to be shared. .. If I had known I would not have ordered it. As I say, the waitress was lovely and so I don't want to pass any blame but I just felt really disappointed when it arrived as it was a massive portion of meat and roast potatoes on a tray and the potatoes were just sitting in olive oil, tasted reheated and lacked flavour. I explained that there had been a mistake and asked for it to be re-plated into a roast dinner with some veg as it was a little overwhelming having so much food for one person- the waitress said no problem. They brought back the sharing plate along with a bowl of veg so felt like I had been given even more food crammed on a tiny table which felt a little embarrassing and overwhelming. I think I would have liked this honest mistake rectified and reflected in the price at the end. There felt a little injustice having to pay £31 for a sharer meal that I practically left the entirety of- wasn't worth taking home as it wasn't very nice and even the waitress said that it wouldn't reheat well. Food quality was not up to standard either and sadly, lots of plates were returned full to the brim as we could see them all on the side. I would say that the menu needs to be clearer for the Roast and ingredients need to be of a higher quality without so much on the plate. Attention to detail is what I love about Youngs' pubs and we just didn't receive it on Sunday :(
