About Venue

Cottons latest addition brings the exotic vibes of the Caribbean to this enviable riverside location on the south bank, featuring an indoor restaurant and rum shack bar and additional seating on the sunny river-facing outside terrace.

Typical Cottons dishes include jerk chicken; homemade curried mutton; and Cottons most popular vegetarian dish Chana Dhal curry served with chickpea and sweet potato patty, and spiced mango chutney. All jerk meats at Cottons are grilled and smoked over coals and oak wood chips with hickory and pimiento and covered in Cottons homemade jerk sauce.

Cocktails are predominantly rum-based featuring Cottons originals like Sorrell Sling – beefeater gin, homemade sorrel squash, fresh lemon, crème de cassis and soda water; Cottons Punch and Killer Doppi made from four different rums.

Cottons Vauxhall our latest addition, brings the exotic vibes of the Caribbean to this enviable riverside location on the south bank, featuring an open space, natural daylight and rum shack bar. The venue comes with a huge outdoor terrace with sunny river-facing views.

I really enjoyed my visit to Cotton’s. I wish I had gotten there before 9:30 so I could have sat outside — the views looked amazing! The staff were lovely, and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful too. Food & Cost: • Fritters: 5/10 • Prawns: 8.5/10 • Oxtail with Rice: 8.5/10 For me and a friend, dinner with drinks came to £99.55. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a visit! Bonus: before 7pm, they offer 20% off food, plus they have 2-for-1 cocktails, which makes it even better.

First time at Cottons. Arrived and Carly without a booking but welcomed and sat at table very quickly. Couple of beers and relaxed for 45 minutes before ordering shared mixed platter for two as a starter. ( very nice and included a bit of everything.) Had a gap of hen ordered mains. Oxtail with rice and peas and salmon. Very tasty and tangy food nice menu and lots of choice. Very friendly staff. I traveled by tube but you can get there by boat as boat pier directly outside. Clean and tidy restaurant with good music playing in the background. Like Caribbean food-like a bit of reggae then this is a good spot. Recommended 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇳🇱

This place looks inviting. It was busy and, there was definitely a vibe. The staff were clearly keen to please although, at times slow to respond. The cocktails were passable - we chose some of the happy hour selection which felt, a little like the alcohol content had been rationed. We ordered a selections of sharing plates as starters which worked really well, for our party. I was however surprised when I ordered, what the menu said was a shrimp dish in chilli and honey, which arrived in the form of humongous prawns - fully dressed so to speak, which were covered in the sauce but with no finger bowl, so that I could tackle the task of removing the shells. Had I known, I would not have ordered them and, this meant that, I didn't have much of a main. Sadly, I left thinking 'could do better'
