The semi-private area at Kona Kai is available to book from 5 - 80 guests. The area is within the main bar and is perfect for standing drinks receptions, networking events or after-work drinks.

Food and drink is also catered for in-house, with several packages available.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations are required in writing during office hours (Monday – Friday, 10am-5pm). Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to your event will incur no charge and your deposit will be refunded in full, exept fees. A cancellation 8 – 13 days prior to the event will result in the deposit being retained. A cancellation of 7 or less days prior to your event will result in the whole minimum spend being payable.

I booked a venue in January for a July party, which then told me on 9 days notice they could no longer provide the catering I paid for. I had to find a venue that could provide gluten free and vegetarian options, as well as a projector. I ended up booking Kona Kai as the new venue, and I'm so glad. They easily accommodated the guests with dietary restrictions, and Eva kept checking in all night to make sure we had everything we needed. They even asked for bands we wanted the DJ to play, which he did all night. They even received the cake delivery and presented it with sparklers later in the evening. We had no stress that night. Phenomenal communication and venue, thank you for the best night!

Guy at the front wouldn’t let us in saying “we don’t want people like you here” we have been there many times before. The man at the front also said “only 20 and up” as soon as I brought up ID, and i said I was 18 absolutely racist and disgusting staff. Bartenders are good.
