Sitting proudly on the edge of Wandsworth Common, County Arms’s grand Victorian building steeped in history welcomes you with open fires and a sun filled garden. The seasonal menus will nourish you from Brunch through to Dinner with great British Bar Snacks in between. This is where classic British pub atmosphere meets contemporary interiors and the venue is flooded with natural daylight from the large windows in the ceiling.

County Arms is located centrally in cosy Wandsworth in South West London and is an ideal location if you’re looking to hire a pub for an event south of the river. The venue is within walking distance from both Wandsworth Common and Earlsfield train stations.

Venue Spaces:

• The Trinity: Located on our first floor, The Trinity offers an intimate setting with its own bar and facilities. It can accommodate up to 40 guests for private dining or 60 for a standing reception.

• The Belvedere: Our largest private space, situated on the ground floor, can host up to 120 guests for a standing reception or 80 for a formal sit-down meal. With its own bar, toilets, and bi-folding doors opening onto the garden, it's the perfect choice for larger gatherings.

    We had our wedding reception at The County Arms this summer and it was amazing! Every step of the way there was excellent communication from the events manager, she was so friendly, flexible, understanding, and gave amazing tips/suggestions throughout the entire process. It didn't seem like any request was too complicated or too much. Their separate events menu was stunning, both at the private tasting and on the actual day. Lots of guests commented to us on how good their meal was. The wedding reception ran so smoothly - the room looked beautiful and they had taken care to set out the cake, guest book, etc. in the best spots around the room. They did everything they could to make the day fun for us - they even brought out some foam glow sticks they had hiding in the back! I can't recommend them enough - we had the best wedding day. Thanks so much!

    We had our special day at the County Arms in August 2025 and we can't thank the team enough for making our day as amazing as it was! Special mentions: Clara - an absolute diamond. Always so quick to respond to my queries (and there were lots of them!!) Super friendly and so reassuring about things when I was being a stress head!! Bradley - brought our vision to life perfectly and we had so many compliments from guests who mentioned how beautiful everything was. Was so attentive on the day and kept everything running as smoothly as possible. Alex - an absolute delight, from the day we met for our food tasting to the big day itself. You were brilliant! Willa - had such fantastic energy behind the bar during the evening and was super smiley and friendly. The chef(s) - absolutely delicious food. We had the Burger Shack for our sit down meal, which we were grateful to the team for accomodating. The late night snacks in particular went down a treat! We knew from the moment we saw The Belvedere and met the team, that we had found our perfect venue and we are so grateful to you all for all your hard work. The decking area was perfect for our welcome drinks and the beautiful weather was an added bonus. If you're considering a more budget friendly wedding in London, I'd highly recommend considering the County Arms - you won't be disappointed!!
