Another classic British institute captured by the woke mind virus. Not a Union Jack in sight but they fly this monstrosity.

The building I live in is, unfortunately, managed by Rendall & Rittner (R&R), a RICS-registered managing agent. I submitted a formal complaint to RICS about their conduct. After 135 days—and only after repeatedly chasing them for updates—RICS concluded that for two of the four issues raised, “...there may be a technical breach of RICS’ rules/standards, for the reasons detailed above...” but added that “this is not serious enough...” Thorough, indeed. One of the key concerns I raised was the long-term neglect of the building façade. R&R has neither cleaned nor maintained it for over five years. Their usual defence is that the lease only requires cleaning “when necessary,” even though the official façade user guide recommends routine maintenance. In response, RICS stated: “...not satisfied that there is sufficient evidence or information to suggest that R&R has failed to comply with RICS’ Rules of Conduct in relation to this point.” And suggested I take it up with R&R... again. So here we are. I’ll let this photo of our façade speak for itself—make up your own mind about the situation, and the standards supposedly being upheld.
