Gorilla is an industrial chic Music venue, event space, bar & restaurant under the archways of Whitworth Street. We have been bringing the best gigs, clubs and events to life for eleven years now and have been home to some of the biggest artists and have welcomed countless local bands on to our stage. Our main bar area is relaxed in the daytime and a party in the night with the tastiest food and cocktails with, of course, the best team!

Great music but they had clearly oversold on tickets because it was way over capacity and people were packed in like sardines. Barely any room to move, I had to stand on the stairs to be able to see because I’m short and the security staff kept trying to get people to move off the stairs when there was nowhere else to go so we couldn’t? As I say, great music but a health and safety issue with selling over capacity:
