Took my Dad for afternoon tea and did not disappoint, decor, service, drinks and food were all top notch! £35 per person sounds a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Will be visiting again. Oh and the macaroon was heavenly.

Better than the Edwardian for me all things considered. The service was great , spa was lovely, and gym looked great (didn't train, but it had Eleiko plates and high standard of equipment). Lovely hotel. Location was decent, probably on the better end of the spectrum for Manchester but plenty of homelessness nearby so worth being careful and vigilant outside.

The bar and breakfast staff were amazing! The only exception was the person who checked us out. She was so rude and miserable I was tempted to take off a star but the rest of our experience was so positive I decided to let it go. I would however like to recommend that hotel management consider sending her on a remedial customer service course with a specific focus on listening to her guests and also on learning to smile occasionally. The hotel is quite funky albeit a bit pricey for what you get .. overall we had a nice stay and would definitely recommend!

Fabulous. I booked a cinema and spa experience for a birthday celebration and it was lovely. The screening room is lovely and a really special touch. The food was impeccable, we had a brunch and a breakfast the morning after and both were 10/10. The spa was great but you do have the leave the hotel to get to it which is unfortunate. The rooftop pool is really lovely also, warm to get into and you can spend a good few hours in there. Would definitely return.
