At People’s History Museum (PHM) we offer a mix of heritage and contemporary multiuse spaces that can cater for small workshop events to large conferences and celebrations.

The museum’s buildings house galleries, an archive study centre, conservation studio and cafe bar; all of which can be incorporated into bespoke event experiences. Cancellation policy

4. Cancellation and Postponement 4.1 4.2 4.3 The hirer may cancel the booking at any point. All notifications of cancellation must be put in writing to PHM. In the case of any cancellations, the deposit cannot be refunded. If the hirer has paid the remaining balance in full or part, they will be entitled to a partial refund on a cancelled booking, dependent on the notice period given, as follows: Notice given (before hire date) More than 3 calendar months Refund Entitled (excluding deposit) 75% 1-3 calendar months Less than one calendar month 4.4 50% No refund The hirer may also request to postpone the event to a later available date within 90 days of the original booking. All requests must be received in writing. 4.5 4.6 If acceptable PHM will confirm the new date in writing. PHM reserve the right to charge a fee for any costs incurred due to postponement of an event, this may be dependent on the notice period given.
