The Tanfield Suite can cater for up to 150 guests, and features full length windows along both external walls, flooding the room with vast amounts of natural daylight. The contemporary decoration of the Lounge and Conservatory Bistro is reflected in the Suite, where guests can enjoy private service of a truly high standard.

Stayed 3 nights. Had ground floor room with French sliding door which opened onto parking spot!! Quite handy for loading & unloading luggage!!. Room spacious, nothing grand. Small table & 2 chairs. Room was clean. Very quiet. Didn't find the bed very comfortable but thats an individual preference. Bed on firm side, I lije a softer bed. Ate in restaurant for bfast & evening meal all 3 days. Not huge menu but had enough choice so we didn't eat the same thing twice. Food itself was excellent! Well cooked, well presented & very tasty!! Service from all the staff was brilliant!! All very friendly, chatty & efficient. Sunday lunch was to due for!! Be aware the restaurant closes at 6pm on Sundays. Wasn't a problem for us, we are early diners!! Hotel not very far from A1. Great location for the tanfeild steam railway. We walked there & back from hotel. About a mile. It's a 5 minute drive from the Beamish living museum. Reasonably priced, both room & foid/drink. Hotel suited us as a retired couple. Would recommend & we will be back.

We were visiting Beamish open air museum. This hotel is close by, and we thought great value. The breakfast was good. Evening meals very good and value for money. The staff were great. Dog friendly. You can park right outside your room with a siding door, so no lugging bags around. This would be great for motorcyclist in my opinion, as you could park it right outside your room. Clean and comfortable. If we return to the area we will stay here.

I just had to leave a review for this wonderful venue! Thank you so much to all of the friendly staff, Joanne and Paul for making my wedding day so special. My husband and I were very happy with how everything went, from the delicious food to the gorgeous venue decor. We are especially thankful for the adjustments that were made for certain guests. We were well looked after and my guests are still commenting on just how lovely their visit to Beamish Park Hotel was. If you are looking for a wedding venue that feels relaxing as well as beautiful then I can't recommend this place enough!
