Today I was at the cinema after not been there for a while I want to give Karena a 5 star review Thankyou so much 🥰 because she went above & beyond to help me with my unlimited cinema card she was very helpful & attentive , friendly, nothing like I don’t know how to help you and left me hanging. She has great at customer service care she should be promoted to a Manager.😀

I had a fantastic experience at Cineworld Newcastle Gate! The cinema is modern, clean, and well-maintained, making it a great place to enjoy a movie. With 16 screens, there’s a huge variety of films to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The seating is comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. I highly recommend Cineworld Newcastle Gate for a top-notch movie experience.

So I do love this movie theatre but I’m going to share this story because it was weird and really rude. I went with a friend to see a film. He ordered a beer and was asked for ID. He didn’t have any ID. The person on the till then looked at me and said: “Oh, well you’re with your dad so it’s fine.” And I was like: “Excuse me?” And she looked super flustered and I was like “I’m 36 I’m not his Dad he’s like 30” and then she served him the beer?! So not only was she super rude but she also didn’t follow the right protocol when serving. I did mention it to a staff member who didn’t seem that bothered but was kind but still it was so weird. On another note I left my headphones and they found them for me so that was great! I love this cinema. It’s the best. Get the monthly pass and see Wicked as many times as is humanly possible. Enjoy!

Ticket prices weren’t to bad compared to others but the food/drink prices were crazy £18 2 drinks and a small nachos. There was no cheese sauce (broken machine) guy didn’t even try the other machine, only packet sour cream that was warm and tasted off very disappointed. Even the Pepsi max tasted strange. Food choices are so poor and quality is off. While getting served we were stood on so much popcorn left on the floor. We were in cinema 15 and our seats had food all over them so we chose to sit somewhere else which still had left over food from previous people. Not a good experience I used to prefer Cineworld but not any more.
