Newcastle's Flagship Club Digital - 2100 capacity venue spread over 4 rooms.

Founded by Aaron Mellor and opening in 2005 Digital was Christened “The Fabric of the North”

Digital went on to collect a trophy cabinet of awards Including UK Best Club SoundSystem (BEDA Awards), UKs No1 Large Club (DJ MAG Awards), Club of the Year North (Mixmag), & ranked 11th Best Club in World by a DJ MAG poll of 1000 of the Worlds best DJs.

It’s played host to a history of dance music with Sasha, Jamie Jones, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Erol Alkan, Seth Troxler, Prydz, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, 2 Many Djs & more playing through the famous Funktion1 sound system and in the shadow of its trademark Pixel Line.

Its also hosted a large number of Live Acts from LCD Soundsystem to The Horrors to Lee Scratch Perry & Public Enemy to name a few.

Cool venue, seen a Prince Tribute here last night, good size venue, great atmosphere, sound was really good, staff were friendly n drinks were very reasonably priced for central newcastle.

Great 80s night just a shame the venue itself inside looks like something from 80s. Toilets need ripping out and replacing and some aircon would help when it’s fully packed venue.
