I haven't stayed at the hotel, but walking around the grounds is always beautiful. The cafe and courtyard is a great setting for a bite to eat or cake. They've recently installed some bike parking, making it a great stop off for cyclists too. It's also really dog friendly.

We just parked up and went for a walk from the Hall. Parking was £3 (contactless or cash accepted). A number of alternative paths on offer. As we had a small one on a bike we kept it short and flatish. Cafe was open serving drinks, cake and ice cream.

Visited for 1rst time August bank holiday.Grand children enjoyed fairy trail. We tried to find a pushchair friendly route route amongst the many paths shown on the map on wall near courtyard. This map must have been drawn up by someone who has not even been to Gregynog. Very poor waymarking, with path often leading to dead ends. Better waymarking of meaningfull paths, with pushchair/ mobility scooter friendly paths marked would add to what would be a very enjoyable experience. I hope this is not to much to ask. .

Quite long driveway off the road, plenty parking, not stayed so can't comment on rooms, service in cafe was good from young man. Decent selection on menu. Beautiful well kept grounds i believe by volunteers, lots of walkways. Worth a visit.

Had a coffee here awhile back and it was freezing cold and late, whole thing also seemed very unhygienic also if I'm honest 🤢 grounds are beautiful though, gardens well kept and it's a lovely place for a stroll 💕 ❤️
