Well this is a little gem, stayed here for two nights and I must admit I can’t find anything wrong with it. The room was lovely and cosy and I was impressed that it had a separate shower as well as a bath with a shower so that sorts a lot of problems. TV was huge and good variety, a safe and was beautifully set out and well looked after. The food was very nice as well (writing my review as I scoff the raspberry delice… it was delice..ous? ;) The layout at the hotel was very modern and relaxed, music was present but so light it was nice. Went the spa and the jacuzzi was amazing, average pool but good for a swim or with children. Sauna and Steam room were also great Staff were amazing thoughout and i felt really comfortable and huge value for money on the package deal. I really can’t fault it, and any issues are so minor it’s not worth it. Will be back

Good news first - Clean, pleasant and modern. Decent bar. Very friendly staff. Great EV chargers (see below) Bad news - comically understaffed by owners on the Sunday I stayed. Be nicer to your staff, Q Hotels. And the room walls are very, very thin. Travel tip: the Roam EV charging bays were very reasonably priced, usable without yet another app, and don't have an overstay charge, so you can leave the car plugged in overnight.

Visited the Spa for a hen do. There was some confusion regarding payments (conflicting advice given) which impacted the smoothness of the booking process. The treatments were nice, I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage and frangipani foot treatment as part of the indulgence package (£160 at the time of writing including light lunch ). We got robes and a towel + free locker which was fine, but for the price slippers would be a nice touch. The pool/sauna/steam room area are dated and not very clean - makes it hard to relax. The lunch was not great (compared to other spa experiences). The staff were so helpful but little things let the experience down (dirt on the floor, glasses with streak marks - pool area which was a bit dirty) Overall not bad but, for the reasons that I’ve flagged I wouldn’t book here again, I’ll try a different spa.

The hotel, although in a convenient location, and very nice at a glance, did have some issues. The room wasn't completely clean, with dirty tiles in the bathroom and stained carpet. The blind also did not work properly. Although these are minor things, the price you pay you would expect these to be sorted. The peephole was also fixed upside down, which although small, did feel like an invasion of privacy. The swimming pool area felt very unclean and dirty with the floor turning green in some areas, presumably from the water? I'd like to hope I am wrong. We didn't eat or drink there, although the bar and restaurant space was very nice and well presented, as was the room at a glance. All in all, the hotel did the job, however was not value for money due to the many issues across the hotel. Probably would not return. A shame as it has potential
