Our stay at the hotel was delightful the beds are so so comfy and the hotel were warm and friendly. The hotel is located in such a great spot if you want to take in the sights in the centre. The deco in the hotel is so lovely and really stylish. I felt really safe and comfortable in my room and the continental breakfast I would recccomend to anyone staying there. The hotel will discount your parking but not completely validate it, but that's still pretty good considering the location. Will be visiting again soon as I fell in love with comfy bed ❤

A very high standard hotel. Staff are friendly and well trained. Room was well prepared and felt special. The location was ideal. Happy to stay again, made a one night stay feel like a mini-break.

Lovely hotel, very polite staff from reception to breakfast staff. Beds were comfy and room was clean and tidy. Nice complimentary touches in the room. One suggestion would be to offer sourdough toast for brekkie as it doesn't go soggy and it was a little noisy at pub kicking out time as the pub is downstairs but apart from that a pleasant stay and i would return.

Staff were polite. Location is great! But the room we had was tiny. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a smaller hotel room in my entire life, come to think of it. The bed almost spanned the entire width of the room. The hotel is rather beautiful but the room size was incredibly tiny.

The hotel is wonderful with large rooms and amenities. The rooms are not soundproof whatsoever but we only stayed for a night so wasn't a big deal. It's close to some restaurants and a main street with pharmacies and pubs. Also close to a tram station that helped us access the rest of the city. Very nice.

Stayed Friday 25th July - Room 39 On arrival the welcome from the lady was not very professional she did not tell us anything about the hotel, meal arrangements or local area. The room was nice lovely bathroom. It was warm so we opened the secondary glazing only for one pane to fall out. The bar was clean and two staff were very friendly although no one asked if we had enjoyed it. Back in the room late that evening it was very warm but very noisy due to a neighbouring air conditioning unit, so we had to close the windows making the room hotter. Yes there was a fan but that was too noisy to put on. The duvet was far too thick for the summer months with no alternative available. Bed was not a pleasant experience. The coffee machine was downstairs and all the toast and continental items upstairs. Dirty plates were left on the tables even when the staff walked past emptied handed. They ran out of mugs and provided paper vending cups. Again no one asked if anything was okay. Check out was the same not very pleasant lady who merely took the key card without asking how our stay was. This hotel is not 4 star the staff apart from pub staff were very rude and unhelpful.

Really disappointing - our son was poorly on the day of check in and we called to see if we could move the date by a few days. Not cancel just so we could still stay but when our son was better. The lady on reception was really helpful - but when she said she will need to check with the reservations team they came back and just said. NO. We had a non cancellation booking so we understand to an extent but to have no flex at all was rather unfair we felt. We have stayed quite a few times even over Covid but will think better next time as they were not fully booked that night nor were they the rest of the week.
