Steeped in over 200 years of history; this Nottingham favourite offers a convenient location with access to both trams and buses as well as a short walk to the train station and the wood-panelled charm of a quintessentially British pub. The upstairs meeting room offers all the practicality needed from a modern meeting space and can cater to a variety of event types whilst retaining the charm and quirk you’d expect of a space named after Alice in Wonderland.

June 2025On entry, the Crosskeys is cute in nature. The service was outstanding with "Victoria" all smiling while taking the orders. The staff were all friendly and the varieties of food were nice. It's kids friendly, quiet and clean. My family can't wait for another visit soon.

May 2025Really impressed with our Sunday lunch - generous portions and the beef was extremely tasty. Minor gripe is that the Yorkshire pudding had been kept warm so that it had dried out entirely, being almost dusty when eaten. Other than that, I’d say was excellent. I’m not into sports bars so didn’t especially enjoy the match being on while trying to eat.

June 202531/5 Four of us attended. We sat outside for a drink first which was lovely. The pub has a great selection of beers including real ales (they had 4 on at the time). We went inside for food which was delicious and reasonably priced. Presentation was excellent too. The pub itself is great, a proper oldy worldy pub with character and the staff were all so happy, friendly, efficient and helpful (especially the lady with the lovely arm tattoo) who served us. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable 🙂

July 2025What a superb place to visit for lunch and not overly expensive either. My friend and I had an enjoyable visit, the pub wasn't busy, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I'm looking forward to my next visit to Nottingham and another tasty lunch here.

May 2025Wanted to try the new menu after refurb and were excited, ordered 2 of the chicken schnitzel and were enjoying our meal until we discovered it was raw inside. Both of us were put off our meals and ask for the dishes to be taken away. The main issue was that there wasn't an apology, and as we both ordered the same dish we asked to be refunded and the waitress was rude and only offered to refund one and said "yours isn't raw" to the other dish. We were eventually fully refunded. Not normally one to write reviews but felt this needed to be addressed.
