Absolutely awesome, the staff were so friendly and smiley especially Rachit and Dion who checked me in and made the whole process super easy despite the late hour, Rico also couldn't do enough for us at breakfast. I stayed with two dogs with no hassle, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. Comparing with other hotels in this price range, 5 stars!

Location was brilliant, me and my dad traveled from Durham to watch the BTCC at donington park and had a great stay, beds were comfy, staff were so welcoming, and breakfast was great too. Our TV did not work in the room , but everything else worked and was clean as a whistle, upon notifying the staff at the check I desk, they apologised perfusely and noted our concerns. It was a great little stay, and a great room with a fantastic village attached 👍🏻🏁

My family’s experience was excellent; the team at this Holiday Inn really make the best of what’s available in terms of the property and service provided A complimentary drink was offered whilst waiting to check (we arrived at a busy time, around 3:30pm), which was welcoming. All staff members who we met were friendly and attentive. Food served in the restaurant and at breakfast was good quality. I will recommend this hotel as a stopover point for anyone needing an overnight break whilst travelling between north/south.

The hotel doesn’t look very appealing from the outside, but it’s much nicer once you step inside. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and served its purpose. That said, we had an issue with the bedroom door—it didn’t automatically shut properly and had to be pulled closed each time. Unfortunately, this caused two problems: once, someone accidentally walked into our room thinking it was theirs, and another time our daughter left believing the door had closed, only to return hours later and find it wide open. Thankfully, nothing was taken, but it was unsettling. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a wide variety of options, though a little on the pricey side. The hotel itself was quiet, and we slept well. Overall, while it worked fine for a short stay, we probably wouldn’t return. However, we would recommend it as a convenient option for anyone needing a quick layover before continuing their journey.

Room was nice but bathroom not so nice. No hand wash at sink someone had filled it with water. Pillows were hard and when we asked for extra ones which were softer there was no problem with this but unfortunately still hard and uncomfortable. Aside from that breakfast was OK not the best but definitely not the worst.
