Sherwood Glade…Fun, fantasy and frolics in the forest! A hideaway in the beautiful and majestic surrounds of Sherwood Forest for magical weddings, incredible events and breath-taking parties.
Secluded away in the majestic Sherwood Forest lies our stunning hideaway, a rustic, relaxed and chilled out tipi venue. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed, informal wedding with a summer BBQ, a stunning corporate event, or just something a bit different, we believe that our tipis and beautiful location are the perfect choice.
Our glade is located in the world-famous Sherwood Forest, once home of Robin Hood and Maid Marian and a beautiful ancient woodland full of diverse flora and fauna. The ancient oaks and incredible wildlife are just part of the magic of this incredible forest. Our little part of the forest consists of our Tipi venue set in a clearing in 25 acres of private woodland. The woodland is perfect for a romantic stroll along the pretty footpaths nestling under the tree canopies and makes a stunning backdrop to your photos.

We got married at Sherwood Glade in July 2025 - it is a stunning place and we had so many comments on how gorgeous of a setting it was for our big day. We also felt the venue packages and add ons were really reasonably priced! On the run up nothing was too much trouble for Jo, she answered any and all questions and was always easy to get in touch with and gave amazing advice and guidance. We paid to have her as our day coordinator and I couldn't recommend this enough. The day ran without a single hitch all thanks to Jo! She really went above and beyond to ensure we had our perfect day. Mark and the rest of the team were super helpful on the set up and day itself, doing most of the set up and pack down for us! The bar staff were also great and super friendly and professional which our guests also commented on 🥰 Big thanks to all the team ❤️

What can I say.....Sherwood Glade was a dream come true for a woodland wedding setting for our daughter. The attention to detail from the owners was second to none. The tipis were beautifully set up, and the owners were very bride/groom led about their wishes, making their wedding day totally bespoke. The venue is perfect, with space for everyone to play on the woodland grounds or sit in the tipis and take the celebrations in. The littlies were kept occupied with games set up and even the adults had fun playing the games!!. Nothing was too much trouble and Joanne checked in regularly to ensure everyone was happy. If you are looking for a beautiful woodland setting for a wedding or event in Nottinghamshire then look no further. Thankyou for making everyone's day so memorable. Amazing amazing amazing.

I recently organised a styled shoot at the beautiful Sherwood Glade, and everything from the stunning setting on the day to the organisation and communication in the lead-up with Joanne and Mark was amazing. They were absolutely wonderful on the day of the shoot too, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for allowing us to plan such a special shoot. I honestly can’t recommend this venue enough!😊

We had the most incredible wedding at Sherwood Glade. I can’t recommend them enough! Mark and Joanne were fantastic from day one and were so helpful bringing our vision to life! Everything was perfect and we had so many compliments on the venue (and food!).
