We got married on the 26the of September at the Sitwell, we opted for the platinum package and honestly say it was the best descision everything was stress free, easy and seamless form start to finish. The whole experience was amazing. The staff were AMAZING they couldn’t do enough for us on our day the attention to detail was amazing. The food was superb, the amount of people commenting on the food was crazy; saying it was so good and some of the best food they have had at a wedding. The photographers, venue dressing, hair and make up, flowers, cake, dj( and anyone else I’m forgetting!) included in the package were such high standards. Huge shout out the Richard the MC who was such an amazing man and was such a vibe. Our wedding coordinator was fantastic and so warm and welcoming and finally thanks to Joanne for helping us sort the best day ever !

I got married in August 24 and overall it was a truly lovely day. The getting-ready experience was calm, organised, and made the morning feel really special. The food was also very nice, and everything came together beautifully. My only minor complaint was a mix-up a few days later when I was mistakenly charged a £50 “sick” fee for the room. However, this was quickly looked into and resolved without any issue, which I appreciated. Despite that small hiccup, the day itself was wonderful and I’m really grateful for how smoothly everything went.

We had the most amazing day can’t actually believe it’s been over a year out wedding size was for 120 sit down guests and the Sitwell delivered in style. Everyone was amazing from booking the venue to having planning meetings. To supporting with vendors. We had some personal issues that meant we needed to do some meetings sooner and the team where incredibly supportive and adaptable to our needs and we will never forget that. If I could do it again I would 100% choose this venue

Me and my husband have just celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary (29th October) and have the most wonderful memories of our wedding day at the Sitwell Arms back in 2017! We planned everything within 6 months from booking to actually having the wedding ceremony and the Staff at the Sitwell couldn't have been more accommodating, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, the room was done up beautifully too. I had spent months making our table centre pieces and seating plans etc by hand, and they were all beautifully laid out just how I had wanted them to be. I couldn't have wished for a more perfect scenery. The weather was beautiful for a late October day which made the whole thing more perfect, as we even had sparklers later on in the evening too outside. I would highly recommend it to anyone. My close friend also got married there a couple of years later because of how much she loved our wedding! Thank you for making the best day of our lifes that bit extra special and meaningful!

The Sitwell Arms Hotel is almost a very pleasant place to stay, with the rooms basic and sparce, but with good quality fittings. Except for the mattress, solid and small to say the least. The food was very good, I ate here for two nights, starter and main, all very good with good flavours and nicely cooked. More than could be said for the horrible lighting in the bar. "Bare bulb" lighting should be banned. Far too bright and harsh. This could be such a cosy environment, but ruined by the lighting, might as well be in a supermarket cafe. Sorry, I have a bee in my bonnet regarding modern lighting. All the staff were lovely, great service and chatty. I would definitely recommend staying here as long as you don't get put in the single room, 29. I had to change rooms because this room was noisy, both with the kitchen fans, which the kitchen forgot to switch off the night I stayed and the central heating system. The heating turned off about midnight, but then came back on from 4:30. No further sleep for me.
