Stayed here on the 18/6/2025 and service was great, friendly staff and the rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable including the bathrooms. Nice pool, sauna and steam room. Gym is slightly small but can still get a good work out. Only issue is lot of the lockers in the leisure centre have damaged doors. Highly recommended hotel though.

I stayed at the Delta Hotel in Peterborough for a work trip and had a very positive experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. Parking was straightforward and hassle-free, which made things a lot easier after a long drive. The staff were particularly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist and making the whole stay feel smooth and stress-free. For a work trip, it ticked all the boxes — convenient, well-kept, and supported by great service. I’d happily stay again when next in Peterborough.

Friendly staff, however breakfast staff were slow to seat. Breakfast was fine however the washrooms were terribly over cooked. Not menu or breakfast service either for teas and coffee's. They need to up their breakfast game! The gym and spa facilities were great and staff very friendly. Dinner was nice and the steak cooked exactly as requested however the meat was chewy, but that's not the chefs fault. I had the same meal two nights in a row to get a fair opinion and the same both times. Perhaps I was unlikely.. Aircon is useless and doesn't get anywhere near as cold as most would require especially in the summertime. All in all I would go back but some room for improvements.

Stayed here in July 2025. The 'dining experience' is a con. Don't pay for it! Tried to extend my stay before arriving, they tried to charge £411 for one extra night. Then only corrected it to £284 for the one night.... Still extortionate when the previous nights were a lot cheaper! I selected a room with a fridge, but it barely got below 10°c. The restaurant staff were lovely, I can't fault them. But the food was cheap pub food (on the reduced 'dining experience' menu). The room was clean, bed was comfortable, but duvet cover was far too big for the duvet?? The room TV had limited channels, no apps and kept stitching itself off randomly. Due to the portal Internet system, you can't use your own firestick either. The gym/spa isn't exclusive... locals can pay to use it making it somewhat uncomfortable for new guests. I filled out the after-stay email feedback questionnaire, and had no reply, so I thought i'd share my experience directly with others.

Regrettably, my recent stay fell short of expectations. To begin, the air conditioning system, prominently advertised, was deeply disappointing. It is not genuine air conditioning, but rather a rudimentary fan mechanism that circulates air over a water-cooled metal plate. Unsurprisingly, it fails to cool the room effectively. In certain rooms, the unit was entirely inoperative, and even when switched off, it emitted persistent, unsettling noises, ranging from dripping and gurgling to mechanical clattering. The bathroom facilities were similarly disappointing. The shower and bath area is so narrow that one must stand at an awkward angle to use it with any degree of comfort. Water pressure was feeble, a tile was conspicuously missing, and there were visible signs of mould and general deterioration around the taps and fittings. Despite requesting housekeeping, no service was provided during the stay. One also notices where mini-fridges were clearly once installed and have since been removed, presumably as a further cost-saving measure. Regrettably, any savings do not appear to have been reinvested into the upkeep or functionality of the rooms. The overall standard is simply not in keeping with what one would expect from a Marriott-branded property. Indeed, even a Premier Inn would arguably offer a more consistent and better-maintained experience. Service at reception was inconsistent. A young woman on duty appeared largely indifferent and disengaged, her attitude was not overtly impolite, but there was a distinct lack of attentiveness or concern. In contrast, a young gentleman at reception was courteous and earnest, doing his utmost to assist despite clearly working within the constraints of broader managerial neglect. To note some redeeming features: the bed was of a comfortable size, and the room was equipped with a modern television, though this too varied, as other guests in my party were assigned rooms with noticeably older models, reflecting a further lack of consistency. Parking is provided free of charge, which is a welcome convenience. The swimming pool and sauna were both clean and functional, albeit somewhat undersized. In summary, while there were a few positive elements, the overall experience was marred by poor maintenance, inconsistent service, and a clear sense of cost-cutting at the expense of guest comfort. A disappointing stay that did not live up to the Marriott name.
