Great centrally located hotel close to Plymouth and the Barbican just a short drive away. Very helpful staff that are knowledgeable of the area and places to see when staying in the hotel. Massive rooms with two double beds with tea and coffee making facilaties. Free parking for residents if you log in to the tablet on arrival with plenty of spaces on large carpark at front of hotel. Breakfast is buffet style and is quick a effecient when you need to get going early. Will be back again soon no doubt.

We had a pleasant stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were not the most comfortable as they moved quite a bit whenever we turned, but for one night it wasn’t a problem. The air conditioning wasn’t working, though opening the window was perfectly fine for us as the temperature was comfortable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

This hotel took me a long time to find, also I was surprised about how far it is from the city centre. Future Inn is in the Derriford Business Park and is wel served by various frequent bus links into city and beyond. I had a lovely stay here, the room was a generous size with daily housekeeping included. It was very easy to request a disabled room. All staff were very approachable and friendly, and were able to advise me on local bus routes into the city. I was super impressed by the water dispenser that was at the end of my corridor. As I dislike using plastic and I predominantly only drink water, knowing that there was a water dispenser outside my door was very useful and was used on a daily basis. Although the breakfast here costs a lot, it is all-you-can-eat and includes bothe contenental and cooked English breakfasts. As this hotel is in a business park and on the outskirts it does not have great views and can be noisy at times. Being in a buisness park, this hotel is complemented by Starbucks and Costa coffee, (which are both 24 drive throughs and open late. Also a Pure Gyme, M&S foods and Aldi. It is also home to The Rangers Global International headquarters, which does include a Range store.

I found that the overall cleanliness and tidiness of Future Inn Plymouth were excellent. There were coffee and tea provided in the room, as well as a hairdryer and a kettle for boiling water. The bathroom was well-stocked with plenty of towels and even bathrobes; shampoo and shower gel were also provided. However, there were no slippers provided in the room. Since I was looking after my child, I didn’t call Room Service to request slippers. The hotel staff were all very polite, including both the receptionists and the housekeeping staff. The lighting in the room was bright and sufficient, which I really appreciated—it wasn’t too dim. That said, a few lights were not working, such as the one at the desk and near the entrance. The room itself was spacious, with a counter area for placing luggage, which was great as it meant we didn’t have to bend down to access our bags. The corridor lighting was also bright and welcoming, which made returning to the room at night a pleasant experience. The hot water temperature was very good. I was also very satisfied with the air conditioning system—it allowed us to freely adjust the temperature. When we first entered the room, we could set it to a stronger, cooler setting, and at night we could raise the temperature and lower the fan speed for a more comfortable sleep. This is particularly important for a family room, especially when caring for young children. I’ve had previous experiences at other hotels where I couldn’t control the room temperature, and my child ended up with a fever due to the room being too cold at night. One suggestion I have for improvement is for the hotel to consider offering small festive experiences for guests—for example, celebrating birthdays or wedding anniversaries. These little touches can create wonderful memories and form a deeper emotional connection with the hotel. In fact, I once stayed at a hotel in Taiwan that gave us a small surprise for our anniversary—it was just a simple gesture or a small treat, such as greeting card but it meant a lot to us. That experience made my husband and me return to the same hotel several times afterward. Of course, I understand this kind of service depends on decisions made by the hotel’s management. Another nice touch I noticed was the complimentary water and small cakes available at the reception area. Overall, my experience was very positive. As for the hotel restaurant, I saw that the reviews were quite low, so I chose not to book breakfast. I hope the hotel can work on improving this aspect. That said, there are plenty of other dining options nearby.

Rooms are big & bathtub is nice but wifi just drops out and is apparently unfixable. Breakfast isn't recommended since it does miss a lot of things and a lot of the appliances show their age. Same goes for things like carpets. Cleaning staff likes to be really noisy when walking on the floor but otherwise is nice.
